We are seeking to recruit two enthusiastic Healthcare Support Workers to join our friendly team within the Rosebank Ward at Caithness General Hospital, Wick. We are a busy acute admission ward, with three bedded high dependency unit receiving patients from the Emergency Department. We aim to provide a high standard of care to our clients on a daily basis.
All acute medical, surgical admissions and GP Referrals are received through the acute referral pathway. This is an exciting opportunity, at a time of continuing quality improvement and redesign.
You will be supported in completing further training and gaining the experience needed to deliver a high standard of evidence based patient centred care. You will be working closely with the multi-disciplinary team. You will also be an essential team member by supplying pressure area care and personal care to vulnerable patients.
There are 2 part-time permanent posts available (23 hours & 30 hours per week), working a rotational day/night duty contract as required.
