An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Staff Nurse to join the Millhill District Nursing Team on a temporary contract until end of September 2024 for maternity leave cover.
You must have excellent organisational skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a team player and have a genuine interest in working in the community. Previous community experience would be an advantage in this role.
The main focus of the team is preventing unnecessary admission, supporting earliest possible discharge from hospital and enabling patients to remain as independent as possible in their homes. You will be required to support the effective District Nursing Team deliver excellent evidence based treatment and care to the practice population of house bound patients.
Our service offers regular supervision and supports training opportunities.
The ability to travel throughout the area is essential.
