The shift pattern is negotiable with 37.5 hours per week.
The responsibilities of this role is to provide comprehensive and effective administration and secretarial support within the musculoskeletal department, maintain good administrative/office procedures and practices to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery. .Whilst supporting the management of the Out-patient Appointment System for the MSK Physiotherapy Service in the East Quadrant.
You must have the ability to manage own workload, prioritising competing demands and completing tasks whilst experiencing regular interruptions. To multi-task and frequently move from one activity to another without prior notice, required to work to a high degree of accuracy, verifying and inputting data with the ability to respond and deal with ad hoc queries appropriately. Must be able to deal with anxious, and occasionally upset patients in a professional manner.
It is essential that you have a recognised qualification in Secretarial studies or equivalent administration experience. Whilst showing proficient knowledge in Microsoft packages (i.e Word, Excel, Access), audio typing and advanced keyboard skills, minimum 40 wpm typing speed.
