We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking Occupational Therapist to join our orthopaedic team. Flexibility and experience in managing an acute caseload and team is essential.  You should have excellent communication skills as well as strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills. Evidence of developing clinical services and staff is essential and engagement in quality improvements across the orthopaedic unit in trauma and elective services. Therapy Services support staff development through appraisal process, supervision and CPD opportunities. There will be a commitment to weekend working in the occupational therapy team at RIE as part of the 5 over 7 day working pattern. There are strong network links to the hospital via bus services and we have a free NHS shuttle bus to an easily accessible free Park and Ride car park. 

Please note this is a fixed-term post for a period of 18 months. Please discuss with your manager if you would like to be considered for this as a secondment opportunity.
