Secondment/Fixed term for 1 year to cover substantive post holders maternity leave

We are looking for an enthusiastic dietitian to join our growing team in NHS Forth Valley (FV).  This post is suitable for a dietitian looking to gain further experience in clinical dietetics.   

This post would allow excellent dietetic experience working in the adult renal and diabetes dietetic service. The post-holder would contribute to the dietetic input to the haemodialysis unit at FVRH and specified clinics.  This offers the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of settings whilst being supported and supervised by band 6 and band 7 dietitians.  This post will be based in Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

The Forth Valley clinical dietetic team is a friendly and proactive team providing inpatient and outpatient services within Forth Valley Royal Hospital, 4 Community Hospitals and within Community Services.  This post will be part of a team of 33 dietitians providing a wide variety of clinical specialities e.g. critical care, renal, stroke, paediatrics, diabetes, IBS, home enteral feeding along with 5 dietetic assistants and an administrative team.  All team members are expected to actively contribute to departmental activities e.g. student training, department meetings and when necessary provide some cover to other parts of the service, including the department duty service. 

NHS Forth Valley is centrally located in Scotland with good transport links, easy access to major cities and spectacular countryside.
