The shift pattern is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
The post holder will provide administrative and services support to the Doctors and Dentists in Training (DDiT) Team Lead and DDiT Advisor. Help with delivering the onboarding requirements associated with the rotational aspects of Scottish Medical Training (SMT). To provide a professional quality and customer-focussed SMT service across NHSGGC’s Acute Services, Mental Health Services, Community /Partnerships (Health and Social Care Partnerships) and Corporate Services ensuring adherence to NHS Scotland/NHSGGC policies and procedures and statutory requirements.
Your duties will include:
Support the DDiT senior team in providing information for the DDiT information databases to support the information requirements of NHSGGC.
Assist the DDiT senior team in the manipulation of eESS to amend pay errors and the handling of applications for maternity leave /paternity leave for DDiT staff.
Responsible to the DDIT senior team in providing the central administrative process of inputting DDiT absence onto SSTS.
Assisting the DDIT senior team on the Inputting of data on SMT, HR, and medical workforce and payroll systems to ensure accurate payroll information is recorded.
Assisting the DDiT senior team in the provision of ad hoc information requests on DDiT rotations to managers throughout NHSGGC
Support the DDIT senior team in providing advice on issues related with DDiT rotations to Medical Staffing, HRSAU
You should have:
- SVQ/NVQ level 3 in Customer Service or Administration / Business or similar qualification OR equivalent experience
- Possession of an IT qualification e.g. ECDL, CLAIT etc. OR demonstrable workplace experience
- Demonstrates commitment to own continuous learning and development
- Knowledge and experience gained from delivering high volume HR programmes of work is essential. Experience preferably gained within a large and complex multidisciplinary environment with the NHS/Health Care system is desirable.
- Experience of working in a customer-focused role
