NHS Borders are continuously delivering a portfolio of IT projects these primarily involve the implementation of upgrades/ change of current systems
We are looking for a dynamic IT Facilitator who has experience in managing change and working as part of a team to delivering change for multiple IT Systems.
The post-holder will be required to manage service change plans, support testing of new functionality and support end users. They must be able to balance multiple priorities providing direction, advice, support and guidance to end users and all other stakeholders to support these delivery plans.
Previous experience of business process mapping/requirement gathering as well as detailed knowledge of NHS patient administration systems would be advantageous
The post is highly collaborative in nature and involves communication and negotiation with technical and non-technical experts and managers internally and externally. As such the post-holder must have specialised knowledge in either IT or business related areas with knowledge that will have been accumulated over several years and supported by formal qualifications, training and experience. The post –holder must show willingness to undertake additional training and professional examination.
