An exciting opportunity has arisen within Clinical and Professional Development, for a 1 year fixed term Band 4 personal assistant post.
Role description
- To provide high quality confidential administrative and business support management to the Head of Clinical and Professional Development, linking with the wider organisation, managing competing demands and undertaking a range of delegated projects.
- To support the Head of Clinical and Professional Development in the delivery of key objectives in line with strategic and operational plans of NHS Borders
- Work with colleagues across the NHS, local authority and other partner organisations supporting the management and development of quality and improvement strategies and services.
- Work on own initiative, dealing with complex and competing deadlines and agendas.
- Work without supervision and use own initiative to problem solve.
- Manage all administrative tasks of the Head of Clinical and Professional Development
- Drafts correspondence, reports and bulletins as well as taking formal, audited minutes.
- The post holder may be required to deal with public and employee queries.
- The post holder has no budgetary responsibility.
