What you will do:

Are you looking for a new challenge and ready for more responsibility? If so this exciting post in our Hospital Dietetic Team is the one for you. As well as having a senior role in team assisting with day to day leadership you will also be expected to provide clinical support to citizens with gastrointestinal disease as part of your role. Dietetic assessment allows earlier intervention with these patients whilst both as in-patients and out-patients. You would work as an integral member of the MDT and would be expected to monitor the impact of our intervention through use of quality improvement methodologies reporting on how progress is made along national pathways.

There is an integrated community dietetic team in place to support citizens and their families/carers on discharge as required.

As an effective and senior team member, an additional part of your role will be to supervise/mentor/educate junior colleagues and students during Practice Placements and other members of the multi-professional team.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

With a degree/post graduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent and current HCPC registration you will have significant general dietetic experience.

You will have experience of multi-disciplinary team working and excellent communication skills.
