Aberdeen Health and Social Care Partnership is delighted to be able to offer a 12 month fixed term or secondment opportunity for a fully qualified Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner.

This post is for the City Visiting Team which provides an Aberdeen City-wide service, undertaking unscheduled home visits on behalf of GP Practices.  Post holders will be expected to assess, diagnose and prescribe treatments as appropriate. 


The service operates Monday – Friday in-hours allowing the opportunity to offer flexible work patterns.


The post will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity for personal & professional development across the breadth of Unscheduled Care in Community/Primary Care.  As a successful candidate, you will join a small team of ACPs who currently provide this service to GP practices across the City.


If you are a Registered Nurse or Clinical Practitioner with either a PgDip or MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and you would welcome the opportunity to be part of a developing service, this may be the role for you and we would very much like to hear from you.

While the post is available on a fixed term 1 year basis, if you would wish to apply and are currently employed by NHS Grampian on a permanent contract, you must have a discussion with your manager and have a secondment agreed in principal before submitting your application. The successful candidate must have access to a car for work purposes and hold a full UK driving licence as travel throughout Aberdeen city area is essential.
