Salary: £56,992 - 61,522 per annum ( pro rata part-time time)
Hours: Part time (18.75 hours)

Location: West Glasgow Ambulatory Care Hospital, Dalnair Street, Glasgow G3 8SJ
The Occupational Health Department provides a range of services to support the health and wellbeing of the workforce. This includes both mental and physical wellbeing. The department employs a Consultant in Occupational Medicine, Occupational Health Nurses, Mental Health Nurses, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Counsellors (including CBT therapists) and Administrative Staff.
We are looking to recruit a clinical/counselling psychologist to provide a specialised psychology service within the Occupational Health Department. This will include undertaking individual psychology assessments, psychological interventions, consultancy, supervising staff, advice and training on clinical/ counselling psychology and health improvement and/ or health promotion aspects of care to other staff members.
- Post-holder will provide specialist psychological assessment and clinical/health formulation, tailored behaviour change interventions and specific care packages for individuals and groups.
- Post holder is responsible for evaluating and advising on re-designing services as appropriate within the remit of the post
- Post holder is also required to supervise assistant psychologists; qualified clinical and counselling psychologists as well as those in training from both Masters Level and Doctoral level BPS/NES approved training courses; and other professional groups.
- The post-holder will demonstrate advanced theoretical and practical knowledge as a clinical/counselling psychologist which requires to be obtained through:-
- Doctoral level (or equivalent) training in clinical or health psychology as accredited by the BPS or HCPC.
- Registration with the HCPC as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
