Band 3 Community Healthcare Support Worker – Complex Physical Healthcare, Community Nursing Service


Are you looking for an exciting new challenge that enhances current skills and develops new ones?


We are looking for motivated, friendly band 3 Healthcare Support Workers to join our intimate team of staff, working within the Community Nursing Service, caring for a very friendly, happy young man who has complex health care needs and is ventilated via tracheostomy. He requires round the clock care at home and out in the community at social groups and general days/evenings out.


We assist in all aspects of medical and personal care, including tracheostomy and ventilation, moving and handling, enteral feeding and medication administration. Due to the level of care needs we work with 2 members of staff per shift.


Extensive training will be provided and continue to be ongoing throughout your career.


We work on a day and night shift pattern including weekends, public holidays, 365 days a year.

Full-time hours preferred, but part-time considered, please specify on your application what hours you are looking for.


A driving license is essential.
