NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern is 8am – 8pm Monday to Sunday
You will be responsible for managing the administration services within the Clyde Sector Imaging Departments to ensure they are delivered efficiently and effectively. Providing leadership within the admin service and will initiate and implement changes to systems and processes as necessary to comply with service needs. You will also be responsible for producing performance management and activity reports. Within this post you will also play a key role in service development and will propose, implement and evaluate projects to develop the administration service. It is essential that you have a strong administrative background and be educated to a postgraduate level in Management, or have relevant equivalent experience preferably within the health service. The post holder must be able demonstrate the relevant skills / abilities outlined within the job description. This post will be based within the Clyde Sector, with an office situated in Royal Alexandra Hospital (Paisley). Routine Travel across Clyde Sector and other GG&C sites will be required.
