An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS SPHERE Bladder & Bowel Service to join the team.
In this role you will:
Provide advanced physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment to patients presenting with chronic and acute bladder, bowel and pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) problems.
Promote awareness of developments, modernisation and integration of continence services amongst colleagues throughout all the local health agencies.
Play an active role in undertaking research and audit applying relevant findings to own practice.
Provide an advisory service to patients and other health care professionals.
Act as a source of expertise, providing education on the management of Continence/ PFD problems.
Work with Multi-professional teams to ensure co-ordinated care for patients.
Further develop and enhance the management of Continence/ PFD through audit of current service provision and research.
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, often collaborating on the most effective treatment and management options for patients
Applicants should be an HCPC registered physiotherapist with significant post graduate experience, with a minimum of moderate experience at senior level preferred. Experience within the specialty of continence is desirable. The ability to drive is essential as this role is Board wide and travelling will be expected. The post is 37.5 hours per week, excluding weekends and public holidays. You will be required to adhere to NHS GGC policies.
