An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of our Occupational Therapy service in South Ayrshire, working within our ‘Staying Ahead of the Curve Team’.  Funding from the partnership, has supported the establishment of the ‘Staying Ahead of the Curve Team’. 

What you will do:

You will be aligned to GP practices, offering an early identification and intervention service to those with mild/moderate frailty. 

You will be well supported through well-established robust supervision structures and processes’ and have the opportunity to work closely with a wide range of health, social work colleagues and colleagues from a range of voluntary organisations.

We are looking for an innovative Occupational Therapist who enjoys working as part of team to create and sustain change to ensure that people are able to receive accessible and responsive support.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

It is essential you have a Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy with current registration with HCPC.

Key essential for the post are:-

  • Awareness of quality improvement methodology
  • Ability to adapt  leadership and communication approaches to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Ability to clinically reason and develop treatment which meets service user outcomes
  • Ability to collaborate and positively influence teams
  • Ability to innovate
  • Experience of utilising outcome measures

Hours:

37.5 hours per week

The hours are worked Monday to Friday, flexible working/full or part time considered.

Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

A driving license//learning to drive is essential for this post.
