The shift pattern of this position is Monday-Sunday 24hr rotational post.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a charge Nurse Registered Nurse to join the Orthopaedic team within the Royal Alexandra Hospital.  The successful candidates will become part of the nursing team who will support the assessment, planning and delivery of acute care within a dynamic working environment. 

  • You must be able to demonstrate your ability to engage and support the clinical team in programmes of care to enhance the patient journey and patient experience contributing towards delivery of positive outcomes using the Excellence in Care framework.
  • You will be responsible to the Lead Nurse and be expected to work on your own merit in addition to leading the team. Candidates should have a strong vision and be skilled with applying quality improvement methodology.
  • The successful candidate should be innovative and be creative within their organisational role.
  • The post holder is responsible for maximising service provision, including the delivery of safe and effective clinical practice, ensuring that all local and national guidelines and targets are adhered to and met. 
  • This post requires candidates to have had significant post registration experience working within acute care environments.
