The post is full time hours over day / night rotation, including evening and weekend work. Flexibility with regard to shift pattern is essential. Shifts are 11.5 hours.

The Royal Hospital for Children’s orthopaedic and respiratory ward is looking for a Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker to join our friendly team.

We are a busy 14 bedded unit, providing an excellent standard of family centred care for elective and emergency admissions. The successful applicant must be motivated and dedicated to providing our patients with an exceptional service. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, excellent communication and organisational skills are required to ensure patient experience is maximised in our ward.

Previous experience in a health care setting and /or child care experience is desirable. You will be required to have PVG with Disclosure Scotland.
