We are looking for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration to provide leadership for our Older Adult Specialist Dementia Unit at New Craig’s Hospital, Inverness.  Working within the Older Adult Service of the Mental Health and Learning Disabilities (MH&LD) Directorate and reporting to the Hospital Manager the role is a permanent position working 37.5 hours a week.  The role provides professional clinical and operational leadership of the Nursing team in the Specialist Dementia Unit working collaboratively with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team.

The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to lead the team in providing and maintaining patient focused, clinically effective care underpinned by clinical governance processes.

The role gives the opportunity to be part of the wider Senior Nursing team within MH&LD Services, develop and contribute to continuous professional development of the nursing team and contribute to service improvement.
