Post: Associate Chief Nurse - Regional Services
Grade/Band: Agenda for Change Band 8B
Salary Scale: £67,285 - £71,978 per annum (pro rata for part time)

NHS Glasgow Greater Glasgow and Clyde is the largest health system and teaching Board in Scotland with an annual budget of circa £3.9 billion (2022/23) it employs around 40,000 staff. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative individual to support nursing leadership at a senior level across Regional Services. This is an important post to us, supporting the Chief Nurse to provide senior professional nursing advice, governance and leadership to more than 1900 nursing staff.
You will inspire others and lead by example, promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement which values continuous professional development and strives for excellence in all aspects of the delivery of patient care. As well as a real focus on nursing and quality, the post holder will work with the other members of the senior team to deliver our financial, performance and staff governance agendas.
As a registered nurse with a first degree and post graduate Master’s Degree, or equivalent experience, you will have management experience in the NHS or another complex multidisciplinary public or private sector organisation. We are also looking for strong influencing and leadership qualities and a track record of success in delivery and collaborative working.
