BANK HEALTHCARE ASSISTANTS
Band 2 - £23,362 to £25,368 pro rata
plus £1,279 Distant Islands Allowance pro rata

NHS Western Isles has continuing winter pressures and is looking to add to it's staff Banks across all sites. We seek to recruit Healthcare Assistants to join our teams in our Hospitals and Community from Port of Ness to Barra. The main locations are Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway, Uist & Barra Hospital community hospital on the Isle of Benbecula and St Brendan’s a community hospital on the Isle of Barra. Applicants should be committed to providing a high standard of care and interact well within a multi-disciplinary team.
HCA Bank is suitable for students, particularly those studying nursing.
The successful candidates will need to achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months of full time employment or up to six months for part time workers. For further information see www.hcswtoolkit.nes.scot.nhs.uk.
