This will be a part time post with your time split between your management role (one or two session/s) and OOH clinical working. Your role will primarily be clinical, working in the Tayside GP OOH service in one or more of the three areas served - Dundee, Angus and Perthshire.
You will work closely with the Clinical Director of OOH and management colleagues in a number of areas e.g. liaison with the GPs, clinical governance, KPIs, GP training. Your role will be to provide leadership and management to all medical staff to ensure the delivery of consistently high quality urgent medical care and support to the population of Tayside. You will work closely with Directorate management colleagues to ensure effective Clinical Governance and other key responsibilities are achieved. Full registration with the GMC, experience of working as an OOH GP, together with high credibility is a pre-requisite as are excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills and the ability to deliver change.
