The Information Governance and Security (IG&S) Team are looking to recruit a team member with excellent interpersonal skills and an organised approach to take on the exciting role of Information Governance and Security Advisor. You will be a key member of a diverse and skilled information governance team.

You will support NHS Fife staff by advising and supporting any queries and projects in relation to the UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, Public Records (Scotland) Act 2011 and Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, whilst providing assurance to the NHS Fife Information Governance & Security Steering Group.

You will be a member of the IG&S Information Governance Group, writing and supplying reports as required, and will attend other meetings across NHS Fife as required.

To act as a point of contact for telephone and email queries from the general public, patients and staff and log all enquiries and requests for support via ServiceDesk or similar system. This is an important role which requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will be a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills with the necessary knowledge and skills in relation to legislative requirements of NHS Fife as a public authority gained from education and experience gathered in a similar role. 

As we adapt to new ways of working the Information Governance Team supports hybrid working however require regular office-based work due to our responsibilities to the general public and enquiries we receive via mail and telephone.
