An exciting opportunity as a Charge Nurse has become available in our Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit based at Stratheden Hospital. Hollyview is a 8 bedded purpose build unit. The ward takes both male and female patients and has been established to care for patients in the Fife area that experiencing acute mental health problem and is identified at an increased level of risk.
It is an exciting time to join the charge team on the ward as we continually develop the unit to exceed further in person centred care with a values based approach.
This is an exciting and energetic role for an individual who is passionate about providing good quality mental health care and support within a busy and rewarding environment. The variety of the role will keep things fresh and stimulating whilst being part of a supportive team with effective management providing supervision and guidance.
•    You will be a qualified RMN, who can demonstrate good leadership skills and strong communication skills.
•    You will have the skills to motivate and develop the team therefore you should want to work in a team that encourages new ideas and feedback on how to improve the service.
•    You will share our values, be committed to providing a high standard of person centred care as well as developing you own skills.
•    You will be confident in dealing with a wide range of situations, supporting staff and other professionals.
•    You will be enthusiastic about working within an ever-changing environment.
