A permanent vacancy has arisen for a Band 3, Health Care Support Worker to work 35 hours a week within the District Nursing Team at Linkwood Medical Centre, Elgin.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team. Experience working in healthcare as a HCSW would be desirable but not essential. Within this post, you would be expected to be able to work alone undertaking home visits and work alongside  the existing District Nursing Team to deliver high quality nursing care to people in their own homes and in Care Homes.

Desirable skills for applicants would include venepuncture, simple wound care, some knowledge of catheter care and an interest in palliative care . The applicant should have excellent communication skills and some administration and IT skills.

A full, current driver’s licence and access to a car is essential.
