This is an excellent opportunity to work in the Division of Clinical Support Services, Acute Allied Health Professional Team. We are seeking to employ a dynamic clinical leader (HCPC registered AHP) to drive forward our AHP services. The role based predominantly in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, covers acute medical, surgical, unscheduled care and cancer services pathways.
Providing leadership and operational delivery the AHP lead is professionally accountable to the AHP Director and will hold professional accountability for AHP services supporting the delivery of safe and high quality AHP care, and support cross system working with the pan Grampian AHP Senior Leadership Team. Managed by the Division of Clinical Support Services. The AHP Lead will take overall responsibility for governance and performance processes relating to the acute services AHP disciplines of dietetics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy.
The post holder will work closely with the acute therapy discipline leads and AHP leads across Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray Health and Social Care Partnerships. The post holder will be required to undertake Hospital Duty Manager on call, evenings and weekends.
This is a Senior Healthcare professional opportunity and there is an expectation that the post holder will fully participate in the leadership and delivery of high-quality patient care.
