Estates Officer - Operational Maintenance

Permanent role

37.5 hours, Monday – Friday (required to participate in Call Out Rota)

Band 6 - £37,831 - £46,100 (pro rata) per annum.

Built Environment / Construction related position


NHSG are currently looking to appoint an Estates Officer, predominantly based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Previous management experience, in a similar role, would be advantageous.

Applicants must possess a current full, driving licence. 

Participation, in flexible on call arrangements, will be necessary in this role.

Overseeing a range of maintenance activities, often complex in nature, whilst acting as an operational manager (internal craft workers and external contractors); guiding, supporting and coordinating comprehensive Built Environment related tasks; ensuring adherence to Healthcare Associated Infection control measures, all relevant Health & Safety standards & various Technical Memorandums.      

To apply for this post, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Relevant qualification in a Technical / Built Environment / Construction discipline.

Successfully completed a recognised Apprenticeship Training Programme, and/or demonstrate relevant transferable experience within a Technical / Construction environment
