New Opportunity for Student Adult, Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Nurses

Assistant Practitioner Band 4 Contracts for Final Year of Study (Part 3)

Are you a student nurse or midwife entering Part 3 of study at university?

Exciting opportunities are available to become employed in a band 4 Assistant Practitioner position within NHS Lothian during Part 3 of your programme. Contracts will be offered as 1 shift per week, either 7.5 hours or 11.5 hours per week.

These opportunities have been created to provide nursing students with the opportunity to become part of a ward/community team within the workplace ahead of finishing University. Please note that we are only recruiting adult, mental health and learning disabilities nurses via this advert.

Entry requirements:

This opportunity is only available to student adult, mental health and learning disabilities nurses entering Part 3 of their studies. In the application you are required to confirm that you have achieved Part 2 and are progressing to Part 3 therefore meeting the criteria for a band 4 Assistant Practitioner post.
