Aberdeenshire and Moray HSCP (GMED) Out of Hours Community Nursing Service
Band 5 community nurse Peterhead base
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly designed out of hours community nursing service covering Aberdeenshire. The post would suit someone who is an enthusiastic team player, enjoys the challenge of a diverse and stimulating practice. The post holder will function as an autonomous practitioner often visiting patients without direct supervision, but always with the support of the wider OOH team. Applicants must be committed to working with the multidisciplinary team, to deliver a high standard of evidence-based care to patients, their relatives and carers in accordance with the NMC code of Professional Conduct, national and local policies and guidelines.
Shift pattern: 7 days a week, out of hours, shifts are 1900-0700
Various hours are available.
Day shifts with the community nursing team may be required for orientation and teaching purposes.
