We are offering exciting opportunities for a Health Visitor, with current Specialist Community Public Health Nursing registration to join our Health Visiting teams within NHS Dumfries and Galloway.  We are looking for candidates with experience and understanding of the health needs of children and families, and a good knowledge of Scotland’s Public Health agenda, including Getting it Right for Every Child, The Promise, and the Children and Young People’s Act 2014. Candidates will work in partnership with families, local authorities, and a range of other stakeholders to deliver high quality, evidence based, person-centred care.  Candidates will be required to utilise a strengths based approach to engage families, be able to identify risks and have experience of co-ordinating complex plans of care for children. 

This post is up to 30 hours. A reduction from 30 hrs can be considered.
