National Services Scotland (NSS) is a national NHS Board operating right at the heart of NHSScotland providing invaluable support and advice at a strategic and operational level.  NSS supports customers to deliver their services more efficiently and effectively and we offer shared services on a national scale using best-in-class systems and standards. Our priority is always the same – to improve the health and well-being of the people of Scotland. We do this by working in partnership with colleagues across Health and Social Care to deliver fit for purpose solutions and systems, delivering high quality services that help our stakeholders to free up resources so they can be re-invested into essential services.

The Post:

The Microsoft 365 Operational Delivery Group (ODG) for NHS Scotland is looking to recruit a Digital Delivery lead to manage delivery of M365 Products and services.

This crucial role will support the ODG in its aim of a “Once for Scotland” delivery of M365 across all Scottish territorial and special Health Boards.

Working with ODG colleagues and the national M365 Service Support team you will lead on deliverables including:

  • Finding elegant solutions to difficult technical and business change problems
  • Collaborating with local regional and national M365 leads across multiple disciplines to identify areas of good practice, translating these into workable national solutions
  • Developing support models for new and existing services alongside the national service support team which work at all levels
  • Maintaining the product delivery roadmap on behalf of NHS Scotland
  • Managing the activities of ODG sub-groups and identifying areas where Boards require enhanced support in their delivery efforts.
  • Representing ODG at Regional and National forums in line with the role

The Candidate:

The role requires a driven and focussed individual with the ability to work automatously with competing demands, sometimes within a contentious or politically sensitive environment. The Candidate must have experience and knowledge of the M365 product suite, with an understanding of deployment at national or local level and a willingness to work towards the ambition of NHS Scotland in this space.
