NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. A Consultant Psychologist/Clinical Lead vacancy has arisen within the Board’s computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (cCBT) Service. This vacancy consists of 0.3WTE/11.25hrs on a permanent basis, and an additional 0.1WTE/3.75 hrs on a 12m fixed term basis. The cCBT Service provides access to a range of supported Silvercloud programmes to a very high volume of individuals referred by GPs. The service is delivered predominantly by admin staff at Bands 3, 4 and 5 and a 0.2WTE B8A Principal Psychology post and 3WTE B4 Assistant Psychology posts are also currently being recruited. This post provides the clinical leadership and governance for the cCBT Service and liaises with the Digital Health Programme at Scottish Government to contribute to developments in digital delivery at a national level. Applications are invited from Clinical or Counselling Psychologists, registered as such with HCPC, with a genuine interest in digital mental health, and with substantial post qualification experience in the delivery of psychological therapies, the supervision and leadership of other staff and a proven track record of service development and innovation. The successful candidate will join the join the large and dynamic South Glasgow psychology department, and have access to a range of professional development and CPD opportunities.
