We are seeking 1.0WTE Band 8A Principal Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our peripatetic Psychology team, which includes a Digital PT Team. In the Digital PT Team you'll deliver high intensity/highly specialist one-to-one Psychological Therapies, remotely using NHS Near Me, to service users allocated to the Digital PT Team by psychology services who are experiencing long wait pressures. There will also be the requirement to work into a service area ‘in person’ for periods of time, depending on service need. You will be a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, registered as such with the HCPC, have experience of the delivery of evidence-based psychological therapies to adults, either gained via training or post-qualification, and have undertaken (or be eligible for) formal training in the supervision of psychological interventions delivered by others. Postholders will be required to supervise qualified psychological therapists and will provide supervised placements to trainees undertaking the West of Scotland Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and other types of psychological therapists in training as required. The successful postholder will join a small dedicated team and be supported and supervised by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist/Clinical Lead and will have access to a range of development and CPD opportunities. Postholders will have the option to work in a blended way, with a proportion of time working from home and a proportion of time working from a base. Hours will be worked between Monday-Friday 9-5. Candidates about to qualify (or recently qualified), as well as those wishing to work part-time, will be considered.
