Band 5 Dietitian – RHCYP (CAMHS)
1.0 WTE – Fixed Term 12 Months
The Royal Hospital For Children & Young People, Edinburgh is a tertiary teaching hospital, providing services to Lothian and across Scotland. The Department of Dietetics supports all clinical specialities, including local, regional and national services.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 dietitian to join our team. This post will work within our Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service, based at RHCYP to support young people and their families across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
You would work across the care continuum, including both inpatients and outpatient clinics. You would also have the opportunity to develop your wider paediatric dietetic skills. You would be expected to participate in student training (A, B & C placements) and provide support to the wider department as required.
We are strongly committed to training and support for CPD and clinical governance, with annual appraisals, peer support and training opportunities to further develop your specialist clinical skills. You would be welcomed by a friendly and supportive team of 33 dietitians and support staff.
