Lead Occupational Therapist
37.5 hours per week
Band 8a (£56,992-£61,522)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Lead Occupational Therapist to manage and lead the Occupational Therapy services in Aberdeen Health and Social Care Partnership. The role has responsibility for all of the Occupational Therapy services provided by Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership which are delivered across a range of outpatient, community, and inpatient areas including Woodend Hospital and Rosewell House. This includes professional accountability and responsibility for the operational delivery and governance of the services under their leadership.
Applicants should have a broad range of experience of occupational therapy including experience in healthcare settings and in a senior role, leading a team or service, and have a good understanding of working across the wider system and within the integrated health and social care partnerships.
We are seeking a dynamic leader to drive forward our Occupational Therapy Services, who is able to work collaboratively with their AHP leadership team colleagues in the city, Bon-Accord care (local authority) occupational therapy service and wider multidisciplinary and multiagency colleagues across the city, and with their peer Occupational Therapy Leads across Grampian.
