A Band 5 Occupational Therapy post has become available at Fraserburgh Community Hospital to provide a 5 day in-patient Occupational Therapy Service. There may be the opportunity to carry out assessment and treatment in the community dependant on skills and knowledge.
Applicants must have a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
The primary function is to provide a comprehensive assessment and treatment package to facilitate a timely and safe discharge from the Community Hospital.
The post holders will require excellent communication skills, good time management and organisational skills alongside a keen interest in physical disabilities.
The Occupational Therapy Service provides a supportive working environment with good professional supervision and appraisal systems in place and opportunities for continuing professional development.
Please note this is a static post, and not part of the OT band 5 rotation within NHS Grampian.
