Post Title: Practice Nurse Support Team Manager and Professional Nursing Lead
Grade: Agenda for Change Band 8B
Salary range: £67,285 - £71,978 per annum (pro rata for part time)
Tenure: Permanent/working patterns will be considered
Hours: 37.5 hours/working patterns will be considered

We provide the full range of Acute, Mental Health, Community and Primary Care services to a diverse population of 1.2 million people in six local authority areas. Regional and national services are also provided across a range of clinical specialties.
We are seeking to recruit a highly experienced manager to support the delivery of the next phase of Primacy Care transformation change. This nursing role is strategic and operational, providing professional and clinical leadership to influence and maintain future high quality service provision within Primary Care for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC).
As a senior member of the Primary Care Support Team, the post holder will act as a change agent to influence the strategic direction of major operational and cultural changes that will be required to deliver the ambitious plans for Primary Care. The post holder will have responsibility across identified key areas which influence and impact on Independent Contractor and Health and Social Care Partnerships within NHSGGC area. To do this, the post older will work across professional and organisational boundaries; in partnership and in collaboration multiple stakeholders.
The post holder will be First level Registered Nurse and have experience of having worked at a senior level in NHS Scotland with wide ranging knowledge and understanding of NHS Primary Care structured, systems and services. They will have had significant experience of managing change and service improvement projects and experience of working with independent contractor clinical and managerial teams to implement service changes as well as extensive line management experience.
You will be expected to manage your own workload and deal with conflicting priorities using your own initiative. You will be Educated to 1st Degree / Masters level or have the equivalent experience in a healthcare environment, either primary or secondary care. Interpersonal skills including negotiation, influencing, persuading, and the ability to form positive working relationships. Having the ability to deal with people at all levels and adopting a flexible approach as necessary.
