An exciting opportunity has arisen for suitably experienced senior nurses to apply for the post of Patient Flow coordinator within our acute hospital. This post is for 12 months.
This role involves providing effective leadership to the overall flow management of the inpatient scheduled and unscheduled pathway from point of referral, ensuring appropriate movement and placement throughout the patient’s journey.
This post is a day/night shift rotation, you will be expected to take site management overnight and directly link with an On-Call Duty Manager should this be required.
The successful applicant will be expected to have excellent communication skills and an extensive networking knowledge to provide support to the ward teams out of hours.
A genuine interest in capacity and flow is essential. All applicants should have experience in leading a team.
