2C SALARIED GP – MARYWELL HEALTHCARE CENTRE

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and hard-working GP to join our small, dedicated team at Marywell Healthcare Centre and provide high quality care to our patients in an environment of warmth and understanding.  The ideal candidate will play an active role within the practice to contribute to the maintenance of our high standards and help develop patient services for the future.  The post is Fixed Term for 11 months, the hours will be 28 per week (may consider less).  The salary for the post is £87,728 pro rata per annum. 

Marywell Healthcare Centre is a GP practice for the homeless with a list size of around 300 patients which includes approx.100 Asylum Seekers residing at the Brentwood Hotel.  Some patients have substance or alcohol issues and/or mental health issues. An interest and experience in supporting patients with multiple complex needs would be advantageous. 

As we are going through a redesign of the service, we are collaborating with the Integrated Drug Service to create a whole system approach to healthcare for vulnerable adults with multiple complex needs. As the two services merge, the job role may to change to include cross working between both services.

As a Section 2c Practice, practice staff are employees of NHS Grampian and are managed by Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership (ACHSCP).
