Decontamination Technician, Band 3

PERMANENT NIGHTSHIFT POST


You will be responsible for the processing of reusable medical devices within the Central Decontamination Unit.  This role will require you to assist in providing a reliable, comprehensive decontamination service to meet the specific needs of users with consistent quality in the most effective, efficient and economic way adhering to requirements of various policies and procedures. Full training will be given for all aspects of this post.


Training for this post will commence on dayshift hours and dayshift rates of pay.  However, once training has been completed and signed off, the successful candidate will then take up nightshift post on nightshift rates.


You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
