The shift pattern is flexibility between Monday-Friday 07.00-16.30 (22.5 hours).

We are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with an interest in rehabilitation to join our team.
The Community Treatment Centre for Brain Injury is a specialist interdisciplinary service which was established in 2002. The role of the service is to provide specialist interdisciplinary community based assessment and rehabilitation for people with cognitive and psychological rehabilitation needs after acquired brain injury.
The service aims to provide innovative, meaningful, person centred rehabilitation to help people to return to pre-injury roles wherever possible.
The service is currently based at West Glasgow ACH, but we travel across Glasgow to deliver our service wherever it is most meaningful. This can be in people’s homes, local communities and places of work or study.
The service is managed within the Regional Services Directorate in Acute Services, Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS, and covers the Greater Glasgow area. The team is made up of Occupational Therapists (Band 6 and Band 7), Clinical Psychologists, a Speech and Language Therapist and a rehabilitation assistant.
Knowledge, training and experience required:
- Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant post graduate experience in occupational therapy in neurological rehabilitation or another relevant sub specialty, like neurology, mental health or other rehabilitation.
- Evidence of experience (ideally multi-professional approach) of working with patients with complex needs.
- Specialist observation and clinical assessment and reasoning skills.
- Relevant post graduate training as evidenced by CPD portfolio.
- Competent knowledge of IT – e.g. PowerPoint, use of internet, data base management, statistical analysis, Literature searches.
- Supervisory skills in developing and supporting staff and students
- Driving licence
