An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 x District Nurses/ District Nurse Trainees to join the Community Nursing Team in East Ross, Highland.

We are seeking a full-time and part-time (30 hours) enthusiastic District Nurse/District Nurse Trainee to join our team and participate in the development and modernisation of the community nursing team in the East Ross Integrated Care Team, East Ross.
Community experience is essential and candidates must possess a Specialist Practice District Nurse qualification or be undertaking, or be willing to undertake the degree course leading to qualification as a District Nurse. Trainees will commence at band 5 until qualified and must complete within 3 years.
As per Annex 21 trainee salary is allocated as below;
Year 1: 70% of the pay band maximum;
Year 2: 75% of the pay band maximum
Year 3: 65% of the pay band maximum
(uplifted to Scottish Living Wage per annum)
These are challenging roles in which the successful candidates will participate in managing a caseload and ensuring the delivery of high quality nursing care in East Ross.
Weekend working and variable shift pattern is required on a flexible rotational basis.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post. The qualified post holder will be based at either Tain Health Centre, Tain or in County Community Hospital, Invergordon.
A full driving licence and access to own car is essential. All applicants to be NMC registered.
