Salary/Banding: Band 7 (Fixed Term 15 months)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Emergency Planning Officer to join our team for 15 months within NHS Fife. They will have a key role working across the organisation to work collaboratively with the Head of Resilience and Senior Management Teams advising on all civil contingencies matters and to ensure that the organisation’s plans and response capabilities enable effective joint working with other Category One Responders.
You will assist with training and exercising and supporting NHS Fifes emergency preparedness and business continuity planning across acute, primary and community care. You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience and have significant experience in emergency planning, business continuity or other relevant risk management discipline; preferably within the NHS.
We are looking for someone with clear understanding of how to build strong relationships across Resilience Partnerships and you will have excellent communication skills. You will be able to respond to changing demands and deliver at pace. You will also have a key role in working with regional and national colleagues and have an appreciation of local and national policy and strategy.

Please note the salary for this post is pro rata to part time hours.
A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
