We have a vacancy for an Assistant Psychologist with a keen interest in psychosis to assume a key role within a small team of psychologists. You will support the delivery of cognitive remediation therapy and exposure-based interventions under the supervision of qualified clinical psychologists. You will assist in the development of low intensity psychological interventions for psychotic symptoms delivered by our multidisciplinary colleagues. Opportunities for MDT working in inpatient and outpatient settings will be provided. The PIP Service is led by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and provides a range of interventions Fife-wide across inpatient and outpatient settings. The post-holder will have access to regular clinical and managerial supervision as well as opportunities for additional peer support.

We are working on an ambitious agenda of innovation that will enable us to transform the delivery of psychological care as we address the psychological therapies waiting times standard and work to enhance psychologically informed care and practice across Fife. We have well-established links with the Universities of Edinburgh, Stirling and Dundee and provides placements for DClinPsychol trainees and trainees doing a range of clinically-based Masters programmes.
