An exciting opportunity has arisen for Health Care Support Workers (HCSP) who aspires to work in a busy / active and evolving Older Adult Inpatient Service. Cairnie House is a ward for males who have complex care needs and dementia. 
You will provide support to the registered nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high quality care. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. You will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills and will be expected to deliver relevant care without direct supervision. 

You must be committed to delivering person centered care which underpins the values of the Older Adults service. 
You will be an enthusiastic, self motivated and committed individual with a desire to join a progressive, innovative Older Adults service. A keen interest in working in this area of mental health and the drive to learn new skills is essential. 

You must possess the ability to communicate well with patients, carers and relatives. They should have the ability to carry out assigned tasks, ensuring delivery of high standard safe, effective and person-centred care. You will receive a comprehensive induction package and annual appraisal. The shift pattern of the inpatient service covers 24 hours over 7 days and there will be an expectation that successful candidates will rotate on to night duty.
