Applications are invited for a LAT post in Dermatology based in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Aberdeen Royal Infirmary is the major teaching hospital for the North East of Scotland. The Department of Dermatology provides tertiary services for the NHS Grampian Region.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who wants to gain experience in the diagnosis and management of skin disease. The Department of Dermatology offers a comprehensive Dermatology service for outpatient and in-patient care including day treatments. The services include General Adult and Paediatric Dermatology, Patch Testing, Phototherapy, Photodynamic Treatment, Hyperhidrosis Clinics, Laser service for Medical Dermatology, Skin Cancer Clinics and Skin Cancer Surgery. A sample job plan is available but this is subject to change dependant on service requirement and opportunity to experience sub-specialist areas of personal interest is possible.

The successful applicant will be part of a team of 7 NHS Consultants, 2 Registrars and Specialist Nurses And the wider MDT team.

Candidates should have achieved completion of Foundation Training and previous experience in Dermatology is desirable, although not essential.

The Postgraduate Dean confirms that this placement and / or programme has the required educational and Postgraduate Dean's approval.
