Paediatric Physiotherapist Band 5 (Rotational)

The Paediatric Physiotherapy Team are looking for a HCPC registered physiotherapist with an interest in pursuing a career in paediatrics to come and join our team over a 12 month period as a fixed term contract or as a secondment opportunity.

We are a forward thinking, dynamic service that delivers rehabilitation services across all the services provided at the Royal Hospital for Children Glasgow encompassing Orthopaedics / Musculoskeletal, Neurology and Respiratory clinical specialities. We work closely with the multi-disciplinary to deliver safe, effective, person-centred care. We also have close links with Community Paediatric Services. You should be an adaptable, enthusiastic team-player with excellent communication and decision making skills and an extensive knowledge of Disney characters, super-heroes, nursery rhymes and children’s TV shows.

As a service, we support all team members to develop their knowledge and skills through Continuous Professional Development in line with a Personal Development Plan and are committed to life-long learning.

Overnight and weekend on-call is a requirement of the post and individualised training and support is offered to support this.
