A rare and exciting opportunity has risen for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join us to manage the multi-disciplinary laboratory (performing biochemistry, haematology, transfusion and limited microbiology) in Belford Hospital and to help further strengthen and develop our multi-site laboratory network in the visually stunning Highlands. Accredited to ISO15189 by UKAS as a 3-site Blood Sciences service and MHRA compliance, we are looking to integrate a fourth Highland site into our network, you will be expected to work with clinicians, management and your team to facilitate this while at the same time ensuring provision of a safe, effective and efficient service at Belford Hospital. You will also be expected to participate in the re-design of a new hospital build which will replace the existing building.
