We are excited to be able to offer a full time post on the Medical Ward of the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital. This post is suitable for nurses with post graduation experience who have undertaken the development programme or similar.
The Royal Aberdeen Children’s hospital is one of only three child focused hospitals in Scotland with fantastic facilities in a beautiful building. The medical ward is an exciting, diverse and vibrant environment .Which treats and cares for children from birth until around 16 years of age. With a variety of conditions such as infectious diseases, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy and many other medical conditions. We are also proud to be a CCLG centre for oncology and have a strong commitment in Nurse training and continuing professional development . We are a 27 bedded unit all with individual cubicles, 7 of which are infection control cubicles with ante room. We have a further 13 non infectious cubicles. And 7 heamatology/oncology rooms . This is a busy, challenging but rewarding area to work in and we are looking for enthusiastic and conscientious children’s nurses to join our fantastic team.
