The shift pattern is Varying between 8.30am-8pm
Working with the multidisciplinary team you will provide Sexual and Reproductive Health Care to clients based on a social model of health. You will be a Registered Nurse on part 1 of the NMC register educated to Diploma/Degree level with post registration experience and evidence of continuing professional development. Successful candidates will be supported to access appropriate education leading to a Graduate Certificate in Sexual Health or equivalent. You will be expected to work across the Sandyford Greater Glasgow and Clyde geographical area. As part of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s pre employment checking for all appointed candidates, evidence of current NMC Registration will be required prior to start date. You should therefore note candidates who are unable to provide confirmation of current MNC registration may not be shortlisted for interview. The post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check As a registered nurse, the post holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team and deliver a range of skilled Sexual & Reproductive Health Care interventions including fitting and removal of contraceptive implants, testing and treatment of sexual infections, including asymptomatic contacts. They will also be working in our Abortion Care services and young person’s services.
