MAINTENANCE CRAFTWORKER

PERMANENT POST
37.5 hrs/week
Band 3 = From £25,468 to £27,486 plus £4,284 annual recruitment & retention Premium, paid weekly
Plus, Distant Islands Allowance of £1,279 per annum
Total available package is £33,049 per annum, plus overtime.
Placement on the pay scale will be dependent on experience.
27 days annual leave rising to 33 days plus 8 public holidays.
The Maintenance Craftworker (Painter) will be part of a multi-skilled team within the Estates Department. The role involves painting, decorating and general maintenance duties as required to support the estates & works service across the NHS western Isles estate which covers all the islands from Lewis to Barra.

The successful candidate will need to achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months of full time employment or up to six months for part time workers. For further information see www.hcswtoolkit.nes.scot.nhs.uk.
